More than just a catering service, Vintage Cookery is a personal chef experience. Your menu is custom created and food is freshly prepared in your home. We partner with local farmers and food artisans to highlight their passions with ours. Vintage Cookery combines techniques and recipes taught from past generations along with using sustainable and wholesome food and flavors of today.

Let us host your birthday party, small family reunion, wedding rehearsal dinner, bachelorette party, or let us cook for you while visiting the Ozarks on vacation. Vintage Cookery cooks all the food and cleans up all the mess so you can enjoy the night. Enjoy a multi-course dining experience with a chef made menu tailored to your taste. We travel to you, from Branson to Springfield, and bring farm fresh food straight to your kitchen.

Chef Austin and Amy Merath started Vintage Cookery in 2014 after graduating from College of the Ozarks and have had the opportunity to love our neighbors with service and amazing food.

Cast Iron Seared Chicken

Boneless chicken breast cooked sous vide then seared on cast iron. Seasoned with smoked paprika and herb garden blend.

Chèvre Risotto

Perfect creamy arborio rice, shallots, and Missouri white wine mixed with rich and creamy Terrell Creek chèvre cheese.

 

Fried Boursin Cheese Salad

Local lettuces, pink lady apples, and Bourbon Street pecans, cream lemon dressing. Crowned with a panko crusted goat cheese medallion.

 

Butternut & Pear Soup

Silky puree of seasonal butternut squash, local pears, and vegetables. Drizzled with Madagascar vanilla infused ghee.

 

Charcuterie Board

A platter of locally sourced goodness. We search our for locally made cheeses, cured meats, pickles, fresh baked breads, and dried fruits. See the beautiful image at the top of our page for an example!

 

Chocolate Pots de Crème

Silky, smooth, thick custard made with Askinosie Tanzanian dark chocolate topped with homemade bourbon whip.

 

 

Wagyu Beef Tri-Tip

Missouri raised 87.5% purebred Wagyu Tri-tip steak with house made Montreal seasoning, cooked sous vide at 135F, perfect medium rare, then broiled.  

 

Boeuf Bourguignon

Missouri red wine braised beef tips, rustic carrots, and thick cut mushrooms in burgundy sauce served over garlic mashers. , Whole caramelized shallots & thick cut bacon served on the side.

 

Farmhouse Caprese Salad

Hasselback Missouri tomatoes, fresh basil, and marinated Edgewood Creamery Farmhouse signature cheese. Olive oil and 18yr balsamic vinegar. 

 

Turnips in Cream

We'll make you an instant fan of turnips. Cubed turnips in a heavy cream and bacon sauce.  

 

Creole Bananas Foster

A New Orleans classic. Fresh bananas simmered in a spiced rum caramel sauce. Served over vanilla bean ice cream.

Location

We travel to your home or place of residence to prepare your meal in-house. Our personal chef service caters to Branson, Ozark, Springfield, Kimberling City, Nixa, Ridgedale, and surrounding areas.
